The Magician’s Log

A Tarot Grimoire for Everyday Survival, Over-Thinkers, and 90s Witches.

I didn't fall into tarot staring into a crystal ball in the back of a foggy metaphysical shop. My awakening came wrapped in Christmas paper courtesy of an Agatha All Along deck. I am a nerdy guy in his forties who grew up reading Silver Ravenwolf, heavily identifying with the Practical Magic aunts, and knowing unequivocally that Buffy was superior to Charmed. The Magician’s Log is tarot for the rest of us. It is for the over-thinkers, the geeks, and anyone trying to navigate a messy world without losing their sense of humor. You will not find vague fortunes or super-ultra-fake positive vibes here. You will find real talk, actionable spreads, and a healthy dose of chaos magic from someone who isn't afraid to be a bit of a weirdo.

The Intention

This grimoire exists because the world is messy and we need practical tools to survive it. I genuinely believe tarot is that tool. You can only spend so much time doomscrolling or waiting for the universe to cut you a break before you have to take the wheel. We have to figure out how we actually connect with each other and how we untangle our own chaos. This space is about waking up, pulling a card, and choosing to move forward. We are not here to sit around in the dark. We are here to live.
